Linear module is a common part of mechanical equipment in modern industry. Its appearance can be said to be the crystallization of mechanical development and transformation. It can be seen in modern military industry, food industry, spraying industry, logistics industry and other industries, because it has more significant advantages than the traditional mechanical system.

For example, its high precision, no empty return but almost zero maintenance (no contact parts), which is difficult to achieve in mechanical systems. Besides, there are many other advantages, such as very high speed, very low speed and high acceleration speed.

Any machine in the use process will have some small problems, such as noise, linear module is no exception! So what are the main reasons for noise in use? What kind of method should be used to solve it?

There are three kinds of noise in linear module:

1、 Noise is easy to appear in dusty environment

Solution: when using the dust-proof device, the general manufacturer will have the inventory; at the same time, when selecting the linear module, the closed / dust-proof linear module should also be preferred. For example, the following model, with the steel belt screw slide, is more suitable for use in dusty environment. In addition to the dust-proof of the module itself, other dust-proof devices should also be set according to the dust size.

2、 Different equipment requires different preload, so noise may occur

Solution: according to different equipment, technical adjustment is needed before use.

3、 Different greases cause noise

Solution: select special lubricating oil according to different models of linear module.

Because the linear slide only needs the motor to complete the linear motion without the gear, coupling or pulley, the unnecessary parts that reduce the performance and shorten the mechanical life are removed, which will greatly improve the production efficiency, mechanical life and reduce the production cost.
