As an important part of precision machine tools, the linear slide module needs correct operation to prevent some abnormal wear and ensure the speed, accuracy and service life of the linear slide module. If daily maintenance can be done, the sliding table can maintain its good performance for a long time, extend its service life and timely find and eliminate the hidden trouble. Especially when the linear slide module is not used for a long time, it is more necessary to pay attention to the normal maintenance.

When the linear sliding table die is not used for a long time, if the maintenance is not paid attention to, when it is used suddenly, the accuracy and speed may be reduced, the service life may be shortened or other faults may be caused due to corrosion, rust and other reasons. Normal maintenance includes the following aspects:

1、 If the motor matched with linear module is DC motor, the brush shall be taken out from DC motor when it is stopped, so as to avoid the damage of commutator caused by chemical corrosion, so as to reduce the performance of commutator and even make the whole slide module unable to work normally.

2、 Power on the linear slide module regularly, especially in the rainy season or in the environment with high humidity. When the motor is not running, i.e. the machine is locked, let it run by air, and use the heating principle of electrical components to disperse the moisture in the linear module, so as to ensure the stability and reliability of its performance. Moreover, regular power on can guarantee the charging demand of the backup battery, but the battery voltage should be checked frequently. If it is too low, it should be replaced immediately to prevent data loss caused by power off.

3、 Regularly use antirust oil and lubrication for the out of service linear sliding table module to prevent rust or corrosion and avoid failure during use.
